Since Clear Lane Freight Systems was founded in 2012, it has been our mission to provide economy, non-time sensitive LTL service to our 3PL customers. By utilizing a combination of intermodal and over-the-road truck services Clear Lane has become an important service provider in the marketplace.

We have reviewed our actual transit times along all of our routes, and updated our systems with accurate information that we can consistently meet at a high rate.”

An Estes-Express Affiliated Company

We recently became an Estes-Express affiliated company, an important step in the growth of our company. Now we are focusing on improving our process even further by transitioning our long-haul lanes to premium intermodal services that reduce transit times by 1-3 days when compared to standard intermodal services. This service is comparable in speed to single-driver, over-the-road options. “Providing realistic transit times in conjunction with offering faster modes of transit in our major lanes checks all the right boxes for providing a great value for 3PL’s in the marketplace,” said Tom Nagel, President/CEO.” The expedited intermodal service allows shipments to be delivered up to three days earlier than standard intermodal. This faster service levels the playing field between truck transportation and intermodal service, making intermodal a realistic alternative and viable transportation option comparable to truck service in these lanes.
